Hair Removal – Know How
If you would like to remover redundant hair, you should start by exfoliating dead skin cells and by removing all impurities. The skin will be smooth and hair will be exposed. If you are using the lady shaver, make sure that it is brand new or sterilized earlier. Never shave your redundant hair when your skin is dry. It may be very painful and you will probably end up with itchy red marks. The ideal situation would be, if you could take a hot bath before removing hair. It is very difficult to get rid of them when they are stiff. If you will spend at least 10 minutes in a warm water, both your skin and your redundant hair will become softer and more elastic.
Picking the right razor can make a huge difference to the result. Buy the razor that is dedicated to women’s delicate skin but is sharp enough to remove all hair. It would be great if the razor’s head could be movable and adjust to the surface of the shaving area. On clean, wet skin, apply a thin layer of the shaving gel/foam. If you buy male’s one, your legs, and other parts of the body will not smell like a lady. If you are planning to use the epilator, do not wet your skin. Hair is gathered with ease when the skin is completely dry.
How to prepare skin for laser hair removal? Firstly, it has to be done in the beauty salon, ideally in the winter or early spring season when your skin is not tanned. The ideal length of the hair would be 2-3 mm above the skin surface. Remember not to apply any lotion or body cream on areas where you would like to have your hair removed. Also, do not use the body scrub or any other chemical peel for at least two weeks before the treatment. Your hair will keep falling out for another two weeks after the session. To get permanent results, you will have to have the treatment repeated at least 6 times. The laser treatment is one of the most expensive ways of removing unwanted hair. Depending on the area of your body, one session will cost £50 upwards.
Many girls complain about having small, red pimples, or rush a few hours after shaving. You have to realize that when you remove hair with the root, you have a small whole in the skin. The common mistake many women make is applying the moisturizer, cream, sun lotion or any other cosmetic on a freshly shaved part of the body and the pores are being clogged. Body reacts immediately by creating the inflammation and red spots. Once you have removed all hair, restrain yourself from rubbing any cream into your skin for a couple of hours so that your skin has time to heal. If you would like to use the fake tan, you will have to wait until the next day or you will have a dark spots all over the tanned area.
