What Your Hair Likes Most: Plant Mixtures, Vitamins & Healthy Food
Do you know that your hair reflects the condition of your body? If it’s dull, weak and thinning, you must do something immediately. Give your tresses what they like most. Discover the recipes for hair-smoothing plant rinses and vitamins that your strands are missing.
What does a hair condition depend on?
Hair condition depends on many factors. You can do nothing about some of them but you can try to affect the others. The factors include:
- an inappropriate hair care (wrong cosmetics and hair accessories);
- the elements (low or high temps, humid air, pollution);
- diseases and medication;
- genes;
- lifestyle, alcohol, cigarettes, diet poor in vitamins and nutrients, stress, too little sleep.
Cosmetics in hair & scalp care
If you’ve noticed hair breakage and thinning, you must replace your hair products. A shampoo, conditioner and mask that go along with a hair type can work wonders. If you want to upgrade your hair care routine, try plant rinses – easy to make and delivering spectacular effects.
- Rosemary hair rinse refreshes and stimulates hair growth. How to make it? Pour a few sprigs of fresh or dried rosemary with boiling water. When it cools down, rinse your clean hair out with the mixture.
- Nettle rinse is most suitable if you struggle with dandruff and oily hair. It has strengthening and shine-boosting qualities. Making the mixture is very simple. You need a litre of water for six spoons of dried nettle. Pour nettle with boiling water and leave it for twenty minutes. After cooling it down, rinse your tresses out.
- Horsetail hair rinse prevents oily hair and keeps tresses healthy. Cook six spoons of horsetail in a litre of water (don’t let it boil). When the mixture cools off, rinse the strands out after shampooing.
Vitamins in hair care
Vitamins play a key role in hair care, too. The valuable ones include:
- strengthening vitamin A (found in tomatoes, carrots, pepper, eggs, milk, cheese),
- group B vitamins which promote hair growth (Brussels sprout, milk, chicken breast, bananas),
- vitamin H (biotin) which hinders hair loss (liver, nuts, spinach, seafood).
