If you often forget about makeup removal, you do not even realize how much you hurt your skin. Cosmetics, sebum, sweat and dust can cause irritation, acne and other unpleasant imperfections. How to remedy them and how to cleanse your face?

Why is makeup removal so important?

During the day sweat, dust, sebum accumulate on the skin, not to mention the remnants of cosmetics. All this causes the pores of the skin to clog, blackheads and pimples, and irritations appear. If you do not clean your face before going to bed, you will not give it a chance to regenerate and rest normally. What’s more, sleeping with your makeup on, you will stain the bedding in which bacteria that are dangerous to the skin can develop.

Cosmetics for removing make-up

Make-up removal products should be tailored to the type of your skin. The most popular of them are:

• micellar liquids – they contain micelles – molecules that attract water and oily impurities. They have a gentle effect, nourish the skin and are ideal for all skin types;
• creams or cleansing milk – they have a creamy formula that copes well with heavy makeup and any type of pollution. They are recommended for the care of dry, sensitive and allergy-prone skin;
• cleansing gels – in combination with water, they thoroughly remove impurities and moisturize the skin. During the application, they lather, which should be massaged with circular movements, and then rinsed with lukewarm water;
• oils – together with water they form an emulsion that removes sebum, makeup and sweat. The oils have a regenerating, moisturizing and nourishing effect. They are not recommended for use on oily, seborrheic and allergic skin;
• mousses – they have a delicate formula and moisturizing effect. The mousse removes all impurities, including makeup.
