The most common symptoms of dry eye syndrome are:

  • burning sensation, gritty eyes, eye fatigue;
  • itchiness, eyes feeling dry, photophobia;
  • slightly red eyes;
  • serous fluid in conjunctival sac;
  • blurred vision;
  • difficulties while driving a car.

How to treat dry eye syndrome?

Diagnosis of dry eye syndrome involves running a few tests evaluating the tear film – its amount and quality. When it comes to the treatment, you have to focus on avoiding the factors that trigger the condition, using eye drops or taking medication soothing the inflammation.
